How it works
- 01
Choose a schema type
Pick Article, FAQ, HowTo, Product, Organization, Person, LocalBusiness, breadcrumbs, software, WebSite, or Event.
- 02
Fill the fields and fix warnings
Required fields are marked. The checklist flags missing recommended fields, broken URLs, and dates that are not ISO.
- 03
Paste the script into your page
Copy the script tag, the raw JSON, or the Next.js component and place it in the page head or body.
What the JSON-LD is for
JSON-LD states the facts on a page in a form a crawler can read: the headline, the author, the price, or the questions. Paste the script in the head or the body. Next.js SEO for AI search shows where that markup sits next to the rest of the page.
The checklist follows the required and recommended fields for each type. FAQ rich results are limited to authoritative government and health sites, and HowTo rich results were removed. The markup is still valid. The Rich Results link opens Google's tester in a new tab and does not send this form.
