Snipshot

Overview

I built Snipshot, a desktop screenshot studio for Windows that lets users capture any screen, region, or window, then frame and annotate the shot with ease. It's designed to speed up the process of turning raw screenshots into share-ready visuals.

Challenge

Users needed a fast, flexible tool to capture screenshots with rich annotation and export options, all without leaving their desktop.

What I shipped

• Multiple capture modes including fullscreen, region, and window selection with multi-monitor support
• Annotation tools like shapes, arrows, text, and spotlight with styling controls
• Various framing mockups, backgrounds, and export formats (PNG, JPEG, WebP) with scaling and quick-save
• Tray integration and global hotkeys for instant capture
• A modern, responsive landing page showcasing features and downloads

Result

Snipshot offers a streamlined way to capture and enhance screenshots on Windows. It stays out of the way in the system tray and supports quick workflows with hotkeys and auto-copy features.
