I built a Windows desktop app that helps AI artists and developers explore Civitai's image library with all the generation details included. It makes browsing and managing AI-generated images easier and faster.
Challenge
Civitai's web interface lacked filters for workflows and easy ways to use images directly in ComfyUI, slowing down creative workflows.
What I shipped
- A masonry gallery with smooth scrolling and filters by user, model, time, and NSFW content
- Detail panels showing prompts, models, and embedded workflow data
- Native drag-and-drop of images into ComfyUI, preserving original metadata
- Auto-update system to keep the app current without hassle
- Download and manage images with optional API token support
Result
The app streamlines how users find and use AI-generated images from Civitai, saving time and keeping workflow data intact for ComfyUI integration.
